Key Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the definition of the customer strategy according to the product portfolio.
  • Establish and develop a close relationship with the customer contacts (purchasing, technical, programmes)
  • Organisation and implementation of concept workshops at customer site.
  • Support in the acquisition of new projects and customer advice within the framework of the sales activity.
  • Responsibility for commercial aspects of the project throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with strong technical acumen, or equivalent degree in engineering with strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with Daimler/Mercedes as a customer.
  • Minimum 7 years overall relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales or KAM function in the automotive OE sector.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
