Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager – New Business Development to lead strategic sales initiatives and expand our market presence with major OEMs, including Stellantis, Ford, and General Motors. This role is ideal for a seasoned automotive sales professional with a proven track record in business development, key account management, and commercial negotiations within the automotive plastics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development by identifying and securing new opportunities with major OEM customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Stellantis, Ford, and GM.
- Execute strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue and market growth targets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, and operations teams to align company capabilities with customer needs.
- Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements to secure profitable business.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline tracking to support business planning.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful program execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in automotive sales or business development.
- Proven success in developing new business within Stellantis, Ford, and GM.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in automotive plastics manufacturing (interior/exterior components preferred).
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
