Accountant – Manufacturing Sector (m/f/d)
📍 Eberswalde, Germany (Onsite) • Full-Time • Mid-Level
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Eberswalde. If you’re fluent in German and have a solid understanding of HGB accounting principles, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an international team with long-term stability and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance.
 - Perform manual and automated ledger postings, including fixed asset entries.
 - Record bank transactions, grants, and other relevant financial operations.
 - Manage travel expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
 - Post outgoing invoices related to other operating income.
 - Collaborate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
 - Assist with monthly closings and year-end financial statements.
 - Prepare statistical reports and support internal reporting requirements.
 - Analyze management costs and outgoing payments for reporting purposes.
 
Required Skills
- Completed university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
 - Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant—ideally in a manufacturing environment.
 - Strong working knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
 - Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Dynamics is a plus.
 - Fluent in German; English proficiency (B2+) required.
 - Knowledge of Polish, Ukrainian, or Russian is an advantage.
 - High attention to detail and a structured, proactive approach to finance operations.
