About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager to lead strategic sales and account management activities within the Saudi utility sector. The ideal candidate will have deep, current experience managing relationships and major sales activities with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and National Water Company (NWC) — with at least 2+ years of direct, ongoing engagement with these clients.
You will oversee key accounts, drive large deal execution, and lead presales and sales teams across complex, high-value projects. This role requires a commercially driven leader who combines relationship management with a strategic understanding of the Saudi utility ecosystem and B2B technology sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
– Serve as the primary relationship owner for strategic utility accounts, specifically SEC and NWC, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
– Develop and maintain deep account knowledge, identifying opportunities for expansion, renewals, and cross-selling.
– Manage large, multi-stakeholder accounts and lead all communication with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
Sales Leadership & Strategy
– Lead sales forecasting, opportunity development, and deal closing to achieve growth targets.
– Oversee end-to-end sales cycles, including contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and financial governance.
– Develop account strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with company objectives in the utility and infrastructure sectors.
– Support and mentor presales and sales teams, ensuring alignment between technical and commercial objectives.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
– Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and performance forecasting.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, and finance to ensure customer success and post-sales satisfaction.
– Ensure governance and compliance standards are upheld across all client engagements.
Your Profile
Must-Have Experience
– 7+ years of experience in account management or sales within enterprise or technology sectors.
– Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on experience managing Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and/or National Water Company (NWC) accounts.
– Proven success managing large accounts and multi-million SAR deals within the utility sector.
– Experience in vendor management and partnerships within major Saudi utilities or energy technology providers.
– Demonstrated ability to lead presales/sales teams and execute sales strategies in complex, regulated environments.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
– Strong understanding of sales processes — including forecasting, deal qualification, negotiation, and closing.
– Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with C-level executives.
– Results-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
– Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and structured account management methodologies.
