About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ITSM Developer to join our Data Center Operations team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain IT service management workflows and automations, primarily using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). A key focus will be building our hardware failure ticketing system and internal incident response automation platform. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure teams to deliver automation-first solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced JIRA workflows, automation rules, and custom fields to support hardware failure tracking and incident management.
- Develop and maintain integrations between JIRA and other systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions for real-time visibility into incidents, KPIs, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify tasks for automation and improve operational workflows.
- Document workflows, automations, and procedures while driving continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- 5+ years’ experience as a JIRA/Atlassian administrator with expertise in workflow development and automation.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Groovy for custom scripting and integrations.
- Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and implementation in technical environments.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of process improvements through automation.
Nice to Have
- Experience in data center or cloud infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) and integration with ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Atlassian product certifications (ACP-JA, ACP-JSM) or ITIL Foundation.
- Exposure to other ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
