As a Field Service Technician, you will ensure the reliable operation of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and central inverter technology. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimise critical energy infrastructure while contributing to the continuous improvement of service processes.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Operations
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on battery inverters and system components
- Support commissioning activities and occasionally assist control room operations
Partner & Contractor Management
- Coordinate and oversee external service providers
- Ensure quality of work and step in to resolve issues on-site when required
Troubleshooting & Escalation
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in the field
- Escalate complex issues through structured internal processes
Health & Safety
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and site regulations
- Promote a zero-incident culture across all activities
Documentation & Reporting
- Record technical findings, incidents, and maintenance activities
- Provide structured reporting to service coordination and asset management teams
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience with:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Photovoltaics (PV)
- Medium voltage systems
- Industrial IT/network systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
- Self-organised, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset
