Head of Sales
The Head of Sales (m/f/d) leads the sales team in terms of expertise and discipline
and is responsible for the expansion and further development of the business and the sales organization. The position identifies cross-product synergy effects and consistently implements them with a direct reporting line to the Director Sales & Operations and in coordination with the operations management.
Responsibilities
- Optimization and standardization of sales processes, including comprehensive and strategic project planning as well as personnel and cost planning.
- Development and implementation of an integrative and motivating management concept that takes the strengths and makes optimal use of the potential of sales staff.
- Setting and monitoring strategic sales objectives and relevant KPI’s in terms of sales, volumes and margins
- Responsibility for the sales budget and control of all financial parameters to ensure sustainable business development
- Motivating and empowering sales staff to increase their performance and ensure efficient deployment of personnel
- Development and implementation of innovative sales concepts and sales strategies to increase the market share of the company and it’s competitiveness
- Supporting international activities
Profile
- Successfully completed a business or technical degree of comparable training content
- Many years of management experience with relevant sales knowledge in coating, surface technology
- Project management experience
- Sound IT knowledge
- Team orientated, resilient leader
- Motivating management style
- Hands on approach
- High willingness to travel
- Fluent written and spoken in English and German
