Senior Satellite System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Satellite System Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing satellite systems, with a focus on mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in end-to-end satellite system architecture and a deep understanding of modern satellite technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of satellite system architectures, including payloads, platforms, and communication systems.
• Conduct link budget analysis, frequency planning, and interference assessments for satellite networks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate satellite systems with ground control and user terminals.
• Oversee the testing and validation of satellite systems, including pre-launch and in-orbit testing phases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement activities, including supplier evaluations and technical negotiations.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in satellite systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in RF systems, payload design, and satellite-ground integration.
• Experience with tools like STK, MATLAB, and Python for simulation and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE and travel internationally as required.
