Technology Development Engineer
TASKS:
- Technology development for inverters in the field of sintering and soldering of power semiconductors and modules
- Planning, project planning and commissioning of development and small series systems for sintering and soldering
- Optimization of proposed manufacturing processes and designs in cooperation with development and suppliers
- Structure of a machine/process capability documentation and specification
- Ensuring robust manufacturing processes according to Design for Six Sigma Standards (DFSS), Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Creation of project status and test reports
- Cooperation with project partners from research and development
- Supervision of student work
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed technical studies, ideally in the fields of materials, electrical or precision engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
- Many years of specialist professional experience in the automotive environment and the connection technology of power electronics
- Comprehensive knowledge of the processing of sinter pastes and solder preforms, sintering and soldering as well as the qualification of the components and the design of the required equipment
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Analytical, entrepreneurial and strategic thinking as well as innovative strength
- High team spirit and enthusiasm as well as a structured way of working with the motivation to tackle and advance topics independently
- Good and strong communication skills
