Team Leader Accounts Payable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process ownership for Supplier Master Data
• Technical and disciplinary management of the Accounts Payable Team
• Active participation in the optimization of implementation and integration of companies
• Monitoring, controlling, and improving the pertinent purchase-to-pay procedures based on key metrics and performance standards for both process and financial effectiveness
• The creation, coordination, and application of guidelines and specifications for the responsibility area
• Close cooperation with the Shared Service Center and proactive management of escalations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in German and English
• Extensive managerial expertise in the aforementioned areas of responsibility, together with the capacity to inspire staff and walk them through change processes
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI
• Completed economics degree and/or additional qualification as an accountant and/or several years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and strong process optimization skills
• Very good knowledge of SAP
