TASKS

• Identify possible new ideas/concepts to improve the system architecture of DCDC & On Board Charger

• Technical concept evaluation with high focus on business potential

• Concept evaluation consists of:

– Identify new state of the art solutions based on customer discussions / patent investigations / paper research

– Development of new solution proposals including high level EE design, System architecture definition

– Technical solution evaluation in terms of key KPI comparison/estimation & System simulation

– System cost estimation of proposed solutions

– Execution of Business Summary

– Participate in technical consultation with customers, suppliers and the respective VT departments

– Leading complex Projects including interdisciplinary teams

– Preparation and presenting reports to the Management

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in electrical engineering/… or similar

• Professional experience > 3 years

• Experienced in managing complex projects

• Advanced knowledge in Charger & DCDC development

• Knowledge in 12 V / Power Board net architectures

• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design techniques

• Knowledge of using measurement equipment and design tools

• System simulation capabilities to perform efficiency calculations

• Knowledge on simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink, Pspice /LTSpice…

• Soft skills for working in interdisciplinary / intercultural teams are mandatory as well as an outgoing and communicative way of working

• Methodological knowledge to solve complex technical issues

• Very good spoken/written English skills / German would be beneficial

• Willingness to travel ( 5-10% )
