System and Controls Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create controls and safety algorithms to handle these inconsistencies at the system and vehicle levels
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients when developing dynamic modelling and control algorithms
- Transforms customer E/E specifications into design solutions by comprehending and analysing them
- Create, validate, and incorporate internal and external models and functions
- Design and optimize simultaneous system performance goals such as safety, stability, tracking and noise rejection
- Analyze system and customer specifications to determine impact on the functional design content of the electrical system
- Maintain project schedules for subsystems (controller, motor, etc.) to adhere to overall programme timing
- Assist with system testing and act validity verification
- Incorporate system models into vehicle dynamic models
- Support the development of all programme documentation, including the DFMEA’s safety plan, Customer issues/communications, customer documentation, design reviews, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- General proficiency in all key areas, including computer hardware and software, electronics, and vehicle dynamics
- Capacity to collaborate internationally
- Strong computer abilities, notably in Microsoft Excel for data processing and Matlab/Simulink for modelling and simulation
- Experience in automotive embedded controller systems
- Professional writing and vocal communication abilities
- Functional understanding of C programming language
- Familiarity with basic tools that apply to CAN and FlexRay networks
