System and Controls Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create controls and safety algorithms to handle these inconsistencies at the system and vehicle levels
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients when developing dynamic modelling and control algorithms
  • Transforms customer E/E specifications into design solutions by comprehending and analysing them
  • Create, validate, and incorporate internal and external models and functions
  • Design and optimize simultaneous system performance goals such as safety, stability, tracking and noise rejection
  • Analyze system and customer specifications to determine impact on the functional design content of the electrical system
  • Maintain project schedules for subsystems (controller, motor, etc.) to adhere to overall programme timing
  • Assist with system testing and act validity verification
  • Incorporate system models into vehicle dynamic models
  • Support the development of all programme documentation, including the DFMEA’s safety plan, Customer issues/communications, customer documentation, design reviews, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • General proficiency in all key areas, including computer hardware and software, electronics, and vehicle dynamics
  • Capacity to collaborate internationally
  • Strong computer abilities, notably in Microsoft Excel for data processing and Matlab/Simulink for modelling and simulation
  • Experience in automotive embedded controller systems
  • Professional writing and vocal communication abilities
  • Functional understanding of C programming language
  • Familiarity with basic tools that apply to CAN and FlexRay networks
