Strategic Purchasing Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the implementation of ongoing portfolio optimisation for many projects
• Support the leadership in coordinating the execution of procurement programmes cross-functionally
• Manage key strategic Procurement projects
• Establish cooperative ties with others outside of your network that are productive
• In charge of overseeing the metric attainment process
• Create and keep standard reporting procedures
• Control the relationship between commodities and projects to achieve company performance as expected
• Encourage the creation of acceptable business plan goals

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in English and a desireable foundation in German
• Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and creatively to resolve challenges
• Strong aptitude for statistics and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
• Several years of expertise in procurement in an industrial setting or in strategy consulting, ideally with knowledge of the automotive industry
• Proven capacity to produce results in difficult circumstances
• Confident, productive leader with clear and empathetic opinions
• Passionate about your work
