Staff Electrical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze, simulate, test, and document digital and analogue circuits
  • Investigate vehicle system issues in collaboration with Systems Engineering and Application Engineering.
  • Assist customers with technical discussions.
  • Ensure circuit schematics and technical documentation are created.
  • Key, critical electrical components must be specified, identified, selected, and tested.
  • Assume responsibility for the design and layout of circuit boards, substrates, and electrical interconnects/bus structures.
  • Communicate the project’s technical status both internally and externally.
  • Make mathematical models to describe power circuits.
  • Assist multidisciplinary design teams, such as systems, mechanical, and software, in producing reliable electrical products.
  • Conduct worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), circuit simulation, power dissipation calculations, DFMEA, schematic capture, and EMC design.
  • Perform the electrical debug, test, characterization, and validation of power electronics designs
  • Perform electrical design, simulation, and analysis of electronic controller circuits used in power electronics devices and systems to meet technical product requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Electrical Engineering Bachelor of Science
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of circuit schematic and PCB layout CAD software
  • Experience in switching power supply design
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 10 years engineering industry experience
