Software Developer Security

DAILY TASKS:

• You will be in charge of creating, implementing, and testing features that are important for system security, like firewall configurations, file and user rights, key management, secure boot, secure storage, or data protection
• To ensure the best implementation of the new security features, you will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and other development teams
• Create and include automated testing and verification tools, perform vulnerability scans and security regression tests, among other tasks
• You develop and implement necessary measures to ensure hardware and software security for our automotive infotainment systems
• You are in charge of overseeing the implementation of new security technologies as well as managing the productive security infrastructure

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to confidently communicate in English and German in an international environment
• You also have knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• You’ve earned a degree in computer science, undergone training to become an IT professional in application development (m/f/d), or have equivalent credentials and experience creating security-related systems
• You are knowledgeable about risk avoidance strategies, attack routes, and tactics, as well as penetration tests and security audits in the embedded environment
• You have several years of experience in C++ programming, ideally in an embedded environment
• Your comprehension of standard network protocols and concepts, such as IPv6/IPv4, UDP, tunnelling, and cryptography, speaks for itself
