Software Architect

We are currently seeking a Software Architect to be based in Germany.

TASKS:

• You are in charge of coordinating the interaction of various software modules with hardware and software developers, customers, and suppliers.
• You create the software architecture for future electric drives, taking into account current development trends as well as future customer and product requirements.
• In charge of the detailed architecture and interfaces of AUTOSAR-based product software for complex electric drives used in hybrid and electric vehicles.
• You can gain preliminary experience in dealing with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cyber security (ISO 21434) in product and software development.
• You will collaborate with experts from various domains (for example, model-based control, complex drivers, and intelligent sensors) to create outstanding solutions for the safe operation of next-generation electric drives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You bring in-depth know-how in the programming of microcontrollers.
• You have good physical knowledge of electrical machines, basic knowledge of power electronics and good knowledge of control and regulation technology.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills desirable.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the design and presentation of software and system architectures
• Many years of experience in software development for innovative mechatronic products.
• Successfully completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, computer science or physics.
