Senior HV Project Engineer

YOUR TASKS:

• Create, deliver, and maintain drawing packages and project documentation
• Create and review project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, standards, cost estimates, bill of materials, and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in project designs, plans, processes and product development
• Manage and coordinate outside resources such geotechnical and topographic surveyors, engineer consultants, and other specialised specialists as necessary for the design and commissioning of grid connections
• Assist team members and new hires with technical training
• Oversee the creation, delivery, and maintenance of drawing packages and project documentation by internal and external designers and consultants
• Coordinate with utilities and regulators for the interconnection process
• Collaboratively design project execution and procedure, including project procurement, construction management, and project controls, with other operational team members
• Develop best practises for the HV engineering process of future-scale PV facilities with the Project Engineering team

YOUR PROFILE:

• Willingness to travel, at least 30% of the time
• Knowledge of relevant HV Codes and regulation
• Previous experience managing projects from initi al design to installati on and execution, preffered
• Experience with power modeling
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience in the power industry
• Excellent writt en and verbal communicati on skills
• Relevant work experience in the design and development of power plants
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or another related engineering science
• Strong in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Gantt charts (MS Project or equivalent)
