Senior Group Accoutant
TASKS:
- Preparation of reports on monthly/annual financial statements for the supervisory board and management
- Further development of accounting guidelines in the group and existing accounting tools
- Monthly consolidation procedures being used to the consolidated financial statements
- Consolidation refers to the independent creation of monthly and annual financial accounts, forecasts, and corporate planning in accordance with internal group standards and the law
- Handling accounting-related ad hoc questions from management
- Person to contact in the event of problems regarding the reporting package, consolidation-related issues, and auditors, specialised departments, and subsidiaries
- Participation in special projects in the sense of active controlling as well as in group accounting
- Doing business appraisals in accordance with HGB in order to prepare the yearly financial statements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB as well as group accounting and consolidation
- Structured and team-oriented way of working, hands-on mentality and strong analytical skills
- Completed business administration studies with a focus on accounting
- You make an impression on those around you with your self-assured manner, effective communication abilities, and cooperative and collaborative capabilities
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting at an international company or in auditing firms
- Very good knowledge of English
- Confident handling of software applications for group consolidation and ERP Sytems
