Senior Electrical Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design circuit schematics and technical documentation
- Create mathematical models to describe power circuits.
- Assist in product development by documenting hardware requirements in order to create products that meet customer design specifications.
- Conduct electrical circuit analysis, worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), circuit simulation, power dissipation calculations, DFMEA, and schematic capture.
- Use theoretical and practical electrical engineering knowledge in laboratory settings to verify, validate, and improve product designs.
- Communicate the technical status of the project both internally and externally.
- Occasional travel and a flexible work schedule
- Analyze, simulate, test, and document analogue and digital circuits to support Power Electronics circuits, power supplies, intelligent HSD or LSD driver circuits, and I/O signal conditioning and filtering circuits.
- Assist multidisciplinary design teams in the packaging and mechanical design of electrical components and products.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or electrical related
- Knowledge of power electronics circuits and operation for hybrid electric automotive applications
- Preferred excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of electric and hybrid electric vehicle drive systems and applications
- 5 years engineering industry
- Desire to be part of deeply skilled team and to engineer automotive power electronics for the next generation of electrified vehicles, while working with some of the world’s top automakers
- Preferred prior automotive industry experience
- Preferred experience in power electronics design for hybrid electric vehicle applications
- Preferred MS or PhD specializing in power electronics
