Senior Business Development Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You manage the establishment and growth of our client’s hydrogen business within your designated geographic area
  • You design and develop hydrogen asset project options and business models. Throughout the whole hydrogen value chain, you direct and oversee operations (from energy source, production, conversion, midstream, sales). You oversee talks with partners and customers, create the project investment case, secure internal support, and guarantee a return on investment
  • You examine the law and convert current developments into specific business advice
  • You establish business and development partnerships (technology partners, engineering partners, business and investment partners, customers, etc.) and find and secure new deals and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong technical and commercial background with BSc/MSc in Engineering, MBA degree is preferred
  • Business development track record
  • Technical experience – to understand renewable power generation systems and electrolyser and hydrogen processes
  • Sector experience – preferably from hydrogen, chemical, industrial gases, utilities, and power industry
  • Financial acumen related to business and project development
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken & written) for all roles
  • German for the role with focus on German/Swiss market
  • Dutch for the role with focus on the Netherlands, Belgium, and French markets
