Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compiling monthly and annual financial statements, forecasts, and corporate planning into a single set of consolidated financial statements (consolidation) in accordance with internal group policies and legal requirements
• Carrying out company valuations as part of the preparation of the annual financial statements
• Person to contact with inquiries on the reporting package and matters pertaining to consolidation for auditors, specialised departments, and subsidiaries
• Further development of accounting guidelines in the group and existing accounting tools
• Participation in special projects in the sense of active controlling as well as in group accounting
• Handling accounting matters in response to management’s ad hoc queries
• Preparation of the consolidated cash flow statement

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed coursework in business administration with an emphasis on accounting
• Three years or more of experience working as a professional accountant for a multinational business or auditing firms
• Excellent familiarity with group accounting and consolidation, as well as HGB accounting
• Skillful management of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and group consolidation software (preferably LucaNet)
• You make an impression on those around you with your self-assured manner, effective communication abilities, and cooperative and collaborative capabilities.
• Excellent command of the English language
• Well-organized and collaborative approach, practical outlook, and robust analytical abilities
