Senior Buisness/Project Developer

Responsibilities

• As a senior business/project developer, you are part of the business development team and contribute to initiating and actively advancing innovative green hydrogen solutions for the industry
• You develop new business areas and analyze possible applications of electrolysis technology in different industrial segments / with our target customers and evaluate the market opportunities, both nationally and across Europe
• With your technical and commercial expertise, you will structure and develop projects in close dialogue with our partners and customers and thus actively contribute to the expansion and implementation of our strong project pipeline
• You manage the commercial and technical development of the projects up to the investment decision, always keeping the economic viability and feasibility of the project in mind
• Budget responsibility, contract negotiations, identifying risks and their mitigation are part of your extensive range of tasks, as is orchestrating the project participants and external companies
• You actively use your existing network of customers and business partners to develop new projects and constantly expand it through your presence at market-relevant events, trade fairs and conferences

Requirements:

• Passion for the topic of energy transition in industry
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset to help shape a successful company from the diverse possibilities of this future market
• Passion for helping to shape business development at a start-up for industrial hydrogen solutions
• Strong interest in developing new project ideas, developing new business potential and building networks in an industrial environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of the applications of (green) hydrogen in industry and electrolysis
• Experience in developing and managing hydrogen projects for industry
• At least 5 years of professional experience in comparable positions in hydrogen production/industrial use of hydrogen
• Completed studies in economics or (chemical) engineering, business administration or comparable
• Committed networker in an industrial environment and in the hydrogen world
• Willingness to travel
• Strong analytical skills, solution orientation, high sense of responsibility, team spirit
• Clear and targeted communication in German and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage
