Head of Process Department

Responsibilities

• Leadership and team management
• Manage and lead the process teams both in Belgium (hierarchical link) and India (functional link with the Head of Process Department)
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to ensure high performance across both teams.
• Establish and maintain strong collaboration protocols and efficient interfaces with other disciplines and project teams
• Process design and safety
• Ensure reliable and compliant process design that align with international standards and industry good practices,
• Maintain process safety across electrolyzer systems, prioritizing safety in all design and operational aspects,

 

Profile

• Education: Master’s degree in engineering (civil or industrial),
• At least 10-15 years’ experience in process control / safety, with an experience in team management. Experience with hazardous area is mandatory and experience in the Hydrogen sector is considered an asset. Field experience is a plus
• Strong expertise in process control and process safety for complex industrial system
• Knowledge of international codes and norms (mainly EN, ISO and ASME),
• Experience with simulation software (Symmetry, ASPEN, ..)
• Ability to develop and implement internal standards and process design documentation,
• Expertise in product and organization interfaces and understanding of how process engineering integrates with other project functions
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, listening),
