They are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team in North Rhine, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute quality management systems and processes to assure adherence to industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and manage quality objectives, measurements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality specialists, providing direction, support, and training to guarantee the successful execution of quality assurance tasks.
  • Conduct frequent audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, facilities, and products to identify improvement opportunities and verify quality requirements are met.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to address quality concerns, execute corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • managing customer quality concerns and complaints, leading root cause analysis investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment on quality requirements and expectations.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality management, recommending and regularly report on quality performance, trends, and initiatives to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to quality throughout the organisation.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a similar profession, with an advanced degree preferable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management positions in the automotive industry.
  • Thorough understanding of quality management systems, standards, and techniques (e.g. ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and 5WHY).
  • Proven track record of successful quality improvement initiatives and implementing continuous improvement activities.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to cooperate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with quality tools and techniques (such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control) is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software apps.
