Quality Engineer

TASKS:

• You work in the team of the quality management department and across departments in changing teams based on tasks
• As part of our quality management, you are responsible for developing procedures to implement the quality requirements for processes and products
• In addition, you will review our processes and procedures to ensure quality standards and participate in their further development
• You carry out various problem and quality analyzes using suitable quality methods and test procedures and document their results
• You support the specialist departments involved in planning goal-oriented measures to identify causes and ensure continuous improvement
• You will also independently develop measures for continuous improvement and implement them in coordination with the internal interfaces
• They evaluate the results of the reviews and decide whether to accept or reject them; if necessary, take immediate action
• You will be involved in the planning and implementation of process audits as part of projects, e.g. for internal and supplier processes, and evaluate the results
• As part of your daily business, you create various evaluations and present the results in a suitable or defined form

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have successfully completed your studies as a qualified engineer or technician in mechanical engineering or comparable – with an orientation towards the area of ​​quality management
• You have already gained solid professional experience, ideally in the metal processing industry and in the series production of printing equipment, mechanical engineering or in the automotive industry
• You have extensive knowledge in the application of quality methods, e.g. PPAP, FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa as well as product and process releases
• We require familiarity with common MS Office applications and experience in using ERP and BDE systems
• Communication is the be-all and end-all – so you should be able to deal with different target groups. Regardless of whether you are working with colleagues, with suppliers or other partners – your confident demeanor will help you
• If you think in a solution-oriented manner and have good self-organization and an independent way of working, then you will fit well into our team
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English is required
