Purchasing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in raising margin on ongoing projects
  • If necessary, take part in project meetings (at the global project or purchasing level)
  • When there is a significant change in a supplier’s primary process, resourcing, outsourcing, or pricing, the control before price is revised
  • Defend the admission, position, or exit of new or repeat suppliers in the panel and their attribution based on their strategies
  • Determine and oversee improvements to direct materials costs and operations
  • Management request against routine report and unusual case
  • Ensure that the project team meets all of the client’s expectations. Conduct supplier process audits, capacity assessments, and, if necessary, action plans with a company plant representative
  • Responsible of Maintenance of the data bases (IT system, excel sheet, access bases ..)
  • Update the forecast and budget files and provide an assumption
  • Payment overdue management
  • Establishing and confirming the contractual documents
  • Identification of the forecasted volume

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in English & French
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelors / Master (preferably automotive engineering or mechanical engineering)
  • A good team player
  • At least 2 years supplier contact
  • Working abilities in cross functional groups
