Program Purchasing Leader
Our Client is a recognised company for proving innovative and reliable solutions.
They are looking for a Programme Purchasing Leader who will to the Head of Travel and Transportation Purchasing.
As the program/project buying leader, you will be able to traverse a high-tech environment with an expert team.
You will be the primary liaison between category purchasers, suppliers, R&D, SQA, pre-sales, and programme teams. You can also play a significant role in category management when specialisation is required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensures thorough awareness of the Projects / Programs strategy, objectives, and needs.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between the Procurement activity and the Projects / Programs objectives.
- Supports the Pre-Sales team in quotations through costing and negotiate back-to-back terms.
- Develops or supports category strategies that enhance innovation and quality, reduce costs and improve service to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal customers to select suppliers.
- Analyse and advise on make/buy strategy (TCO approach).
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth contract implementation, identify new business opportunities, and anticipate risks.
- Negotiates cost-effective arrangements with suppliers to deliver agreed-upon budgets and provide our client with a competitive advantage.
Your Qualifications:
- You possess a strong background in international business and a strong desire to gain access to projects and programmes.
- Aspiring, customer-focused, and a real leader, you
- You’ve managed contracts and completed projects before.
- You possess a strong technical background, a strong business focus and a strong results-oriented approach.
- You are proficient in Procurement and Supplier Management.
- You have strong communication and coordination abilities.
- You have fluency in English and French.
