Production Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement Lean initiatives to improve productivity and profitability while reducing waste
Develop strategies to optimize supply chain and inventory management
Identify opportunities for improvement and propose preventive actions
Establish clear goals for progress that align with the Strategic Plan and their planning, working with each process pilot
Implement KPIs to assess operational performance and take corrective action as needed
Lead production teams by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Define corrective actions in case of drift
Ensure that commitments made to clients are met
Collaborate with engineering teams to introduce new technologies and improve manufacturing processes
Make sure that all interested parties’ expectations and obligations regarding compliance are met, and enforce them
Establish QHSE objectives in line with the company’s strategy and deploy them on the sites
Supervise plastic injection and assembly operations, ensuring that quality standards are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering degree in industrial engineering, production management or a related field
In-depth knowledge of plastic injection processes and assembly workshops
Is willing to resolve issues in a respectful manner
Mastery of business realities: EBITDA, Capex, personnel cost calculations, KPIs
Change management skills in a context of transformation and ability to unite teams around projects
At least 10 years of supervisory and management experience in manufacturing, with exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or other formal productivity improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), ISO9001/14001
Change management skills in a context of transformation and ability to unite teams around projects
Excellent communication skills to ensure effective coordination between different teams
Advanced team management skills and ability to inspire a commitment to continuous improvement
