Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for BESS, including defining product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market plans. Collaborate with senior management to align product strategy with overall business goals and market trends.
2. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the energy storage industry. Use insights to inform product strategy and prioritize feature development.
3. Requirement Definition: Work closely with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements. Define clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Ensure alignment and effective communication to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
5. Product Development Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to development teams to ensure successful execution of product roadmap. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and mitigate risks.
6. Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead product launch activities, including defining positioning, messaging, and pricing strategy. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop collateral, conduct training, and support go-to-market efforts.
7. Product Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance post-launch. Analyze data, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product features to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications governing BESS products. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and proactively address compliance requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in product management roles, preferably within the energy industry and specifically with BESS products.
• Strong technical background with understanding of energy storage technologies, grid integration, and power electronics.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to energy storage systems is a plus.
