Product Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the discipline architects to create a technical concept for the product based on internal and external requirements
• Assures that a D-FMEA facilitator is available and that they are aware of their roles in the project
• Verifies that all internal and external criteria, including customer standards and platform concepts for embedded controllers, are met
• Coordinates the intersections between the development of SW, EE, and ME, concentrating on possible conflicts and cross-discipline effects between the individual solutions
• Identifies, analyses and documents special characteristics
• Ensures the technical feasibility of the solution incl. manufacturability in compliance with requirements and attainment of targets for costs, time schedule, risk and quality
• Files the system architecture-related documents in the configuration management system,

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong experience with the development and concepts of automotive ECU
• Broad technical overview in hardware-, software- and mechanical engineering
• Overview concerning development-, test and production-processes
• Good understanding of technical / functional context
• Knowledge in display technologies preferred
• Experience with customer interfaces
• Experience in leading cross discipline teams
