Procurement Associate Director

TASKS:

• Increasing purchasing skills to assist with strategic and operational improvements across the portfolio’s diverse businesses
• Savings intiatives
• Change management: deal with any potential pushback from the buying departments to significant changes occurring within the portfolio companies
• Management of strategic negotiations with important suppliers for portfolio firms
• Managing projects throughout Europe with an emphasis on: – Restructuring purchasing organisations
• Implementing a purchasing system, upskilling and developing the purchasing organisation, and coaching, developing, and making changes within the purchasing organisation for the portfolio businesses
• Creation and use of procurement strategies for portfolio companies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluency in English and one other European lanaguage
• Completed university degree, preferably within 20% and/or top tier university
• Proven ability to lead and motivate international teams
• Willingness to travel (Mon-Thurs)
• Proffesional communication and presentation of information, adapted to audience
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• International expereince in Restrutcutirng Leadership role in industry or in consulting
• Good command of financial analysiss and management accounting
• Track record of delivering value creation in a Private Equity portfolio company is a plus.
