Procurement Associate Director
TASKS:
- Increasing purchasing skills to assist with strategic and operational improvements across the portfolio’s diverse businesses
- Savings intiatives
- Change management: deal with any potential pushback from the buying departments to significant changes occurring within the portfolio companies
- Management of strategic negotiations with important suppliers for portfolio firms
- Managing projects throughout Europe with an emphasis on: – Restructuring purchasing organisations
- Implementing a purchasing system, upskilling and developing the purchasing organisation, and coaching, developing, and making changes within the purchasing organisation for the portfolio businesses
- Creation and use of procurement strategies for portfolio companies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in English and one other European lanaguage
- Completed university degree, preferably within 20% and/or top tier university
- Proven ability to lead and motivate international teams
- Willingness to travel (Mon-Thurs)
- Proffesional communication and presentation of information, adapted to audience
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- International expereince in Restrutcutirng Leadership role in industry or in consulting
- Good command of financial analysiss and management accounting
- Track record of delivering value creation in a Private Equity portfolio company is a plus.
