Principal Security Engineer

TASKS:

• Investigate and use the most recent security tools and technology
• Participate in the process of handling product security incidents and follow the correction strategies
• Determine, examine, and evaluate the organisational and technological cybersecurity vulnerabilities
• Implement Machine Learning into high level security concepts
• Perform cybersecurity assessment of products. Carry out advanced security tests on Telco /IoT/ Hardware /Application/Network/OT -Equipment
• Internal and external communications about product security-related matters
• Conduct security research and devise new attack techniques within the Telco & IoT fields
• Document and report penetration test results to stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with development languages (such as C/C++, JAVA, PHP, Python, JSP)
• Basic knowledge of penetration test standards like OWASP, OSSTM
• Strong team spirit, communication skills, and sense of responsibility, fast learner
• Major in a Cybersecurity/Telecommunications related field or relevant Security Certifications & Professional experience
• Understanding of Network Technologies: TCP/IP and UDP, knowledge of the OSI model
• Good English and/or German writing and speaking skills
• Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, Windows, iOS, Android)

SOME PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with 5G/4G/2G architectures and most common attacks
• Experience with telecommunication roaming networks and architecture (GRX, IPX)
• Relevant security certifications (OSCP, OSWE, OSWE, eWPT, eWPTX, eCPT, eCPTXv2, eCRE, OSWP)
• Custom firmware extraction and modification, MMC/NAND/SPI flash data extraction and re-flashing
