Power System Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define the control strategy
- Examine the needs for power converters
- Ensure the successful execution of the integration stages of the control algorithms on the hardware and framework of the DSP as well as the target plant’s hardware
- Define topologies in line with the established concept
- Interact with all of the R&D Team’s specialised departments to put out the best plan of action
- Analyse the power converter’s performance using average, behavioural, and loss criteria
- Contribute to the definition of the Test Plan
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Electronic, Electric, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of technological aspects and components used on high voltage and high power switching converters
- Familiarity with the functional safety principles (ISO 26262)
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Strong skills in the field of power electronic converters: architectures / topologies and related control strategies: stability analysis and compensation techniques, digital control
- Previous experience in e-mobility
- Mastery of modeling tools
