Plant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures document and data control at the plant level
  • Manages and maintains the quality system; provides the resources necessary to maintain the quality system
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction
  • Oversees the plant’s production, technical, engineering, launch, quality, supply chain, information technology, and environmental health and safety activities
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
  • Offers the resources required to maintain the system’s quality while managing and maintaining the environmental management system
  • Responsible for the safety of employees, visitors and contractors within the site
  • Conducts management reviews of the quality and EM system
  • Plan plant activities in conjunction with departmental managers to ensure that the overall manufacturing goals are met on schedule and within budget
  • Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with plant/department responsibilities
  • Background in working with Automotive Metal Products
  • Strong team building, decision making, communication and people management skills
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and corresponding technical expertise
  • Extensive experience working/communicating with customers and suppliers
