We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Permitting & Licensing Specialist to support our offshore wind energy projects in Greece. This remote position will focus on navigating complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance with local, national, and EU legislation, and securing the necessary permits and licenses to drive project success. Key Responsibilities

Permitting and Licensing

• Lead the permitting and licensing processes for offshore wind projects, ensuring timely acquisition of all required approvals.
• Prepare and submit applications, liaising with regulatory bodies, governmental agencies, and local authorities.
• Monitor compliance with environmental, spatial planning, maritime, and energy regulations.
• Manage Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) processes, coordinating with consultants and stakeholders to ensure high-quality submissions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact with permitting authorities, maintaining strong and transparent relationships.
• Collaborate with local communities, NGOs, and industry organizations to address concerns and build support for projects.
• Represent the company in public hearings, stakeholder meetings, and industry forums.

Project Support

• Provide regulatory insights and updates to internal teams, ensuring alignment with permitting requirements during project design and development.
• Work closely with project managers, legal advisors, and technical teams to identify and mitigate permitting risks.
• Support contract negotiations and agreements with external consultants and service providers.
