Grid Connection Manager

The Grid Connection Manager organizes, carries out and ensures the smooth running of operations related to the connection of photovoltaic projects under the direct responsibility of the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• You analyze with the mapping teams the most favorable areas for connection
• You set up the tools to estimate and optimize the connection costs of large photovoltaic power plants
• You are the guarantor of the technical references for connection and dimensioning of HTA and HTB electrical substations
• You manage the electrical engineering (design, calculation notes, equipment) of HTA and HTB substations and the management of specialized service providers and design offices;
• You ensure the factory and on-site acceptance of HTA and HTB substations and you manage the electrical and safety tests with the network manager, service providers and inspection offices
• You manage the connection procedures with the network managers until commissioning
• You supervise studies, authorizations for the creation of private HTB/HTA source stations as well as negotiations with other producers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
• 3+ years’ of management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with renewable energy
