Operations Controller

Responsibility for the global Operations Controlling (Production, Supply Chain) within the central controlling department (Global FP&A) and further development of transparent and regular reporting, cost accounting and defined KPIs, in cooperation with global functions and the specialist departments of the operating units.

Responsibilities

• Takeover of the central SAP 4/HANA CO key user function incl. the development / training of expert knowledge
• Responsibility for the global harmonization of product/manufacturing cost calculation including the associated process
• Controlling business partner for the global CTO; Sparring partner for the departments of local/regional organizations in the analysis and improvement of KPIs in the area of production and supply chain
• Support in the implementation of group-wide corporate planning, preview and analysis
• Support for the monthly reporting of the Lapp Group (presentation to the Management Board and Supervisory Board)
• Management of and collaboration on further tasks and (sub-)projects in the field of FP&A

Requirements

• Successful degree (university/university of applied sciences) in economics or industrial engineering with a focus on finance, production or supply chain
• At least 5-7 years of experience in an internationally active, manufacturing company. In-depth experience in the field of plant/operations controlling, as well as in the area of financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Very good IT skills (SAP 4/HANA desirable), handling of databases
• Very good experience with the creation of presentations
• Very good knowledge of English, at least basic knowledge of German
• Strong analytical skills and the strength to structure complex tasks and implement them pragmatically
• Self-confident and interculturally competent personality who pursues her goals with strong communication skills, decisiveness and a high level of motivation
