Senior PV Construction Director

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end construction processes for multiple PV projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Define and update construction standards and project management requirements.
• Participation in the awarding of construction services (list of services, technical offer analysis, participation in contract negotiations)
• Coordinating subcontractors and contact persons for all questions on the construction site
• Ensuring compliance with construction site rules
• Monitoring construction progress and reviewing subcontractor services
• Leadership and management of its team, being responsible for setting objectives and responsibilities, performance management and people development of all its staff.
• Develop and control the construction budget, optimize expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with project construction.
• Lead contract and commercial discussions with third parties for portfolio topics.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Implement innovative construction methods and technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the construction division.

Job Requirements

• Relevant degree or technical training
• Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of renewable energy
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing substantial construction budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders and clients.
• Understanding of contractual and business relationships
• Assertiveness, negotiation skills and commitment
• High level of planning and coordination skills as well as the ability to work in a team
