Head of FuSa & Cybersecurity
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Individual FSE, FSM, and CSE should receive coaching and support for their own personal growth
- Review and approval of project safety management work products as well as cybersecurity work products
- Support global FS Center of Expertise initiative and process standardization
- Review and approval of production intent product releases
- Inform upper management about the safety and security status of regional initiatives
- Manage the project Functional Safety Managers’, Functional Safety Engineers and Cyber Security Engineers’ workload
- Organising ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO26262 trainings for hardware, software, and system competencies
- Ascertain that all safety and security-related system, software, and hardware risks are identified, recorded, and tracked in accordance with ISO26262 and ISO/SAE 21434 requirements
- Planning, tracking, and maintaining group expenses are within the allocated budget
- Staffing the regional FSE, FSM and CSE teams according to business growth plans and project needs
- Sourcing of potential 3rd party contractors to support execution of FSM and CSE tasks
- Collaborate closely with experts in systems, software, and hardware to guarantee that resources for functional safety and cyber security are found to enable the completion of all relevant tasks and the delivery of finished goods
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s or preferably master’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience as project Functional Safety Manager, preferably for inverter controller or other electronics development projects
- Demonstrated project management, systems engineering, hardware, and software engineering competencies
- Experience on safety analysis (SFMEA, FTA, FMEDA, SW Freedom from Interference)
- 10 years’ experience and proven skills in managing multiple teams in complex organizations
- Major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
- Fluency in English is required; German/French would be an advantage
- Experience in automotive powertrain and power electronics preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in the field of Functional Safety and /or Cybersecurity preferably in the Automotive Industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills; internal and external reporting on different levels of the organization
- 2+ years’ experience as cybersecurity engineer for an electronics controller project
- Knowledge on multi-core microprocessor architecture
- Demonstrated capacity to complete tasks on time and under pressure when necessary
- Experience on Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
- Possess completed a minimum of one ASIL C or D project, ideally using electric drive systems
- Proficient knowledge on ISO26262 standard
- It is desirable if you have experience creating safety and security concepts for power electronic ECU sensor, actuator, motor, and inverter control functions
