Hardware Safety Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Processing of work packages from ISO26262-5
– Coordination of the hardware with the system developers and the hardware designers.
– Carrying out safety analysis such as FMEA, FMEDA and FTA.
– Definition of hardware requirements based on system requirements.
– Creation of the HW architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Successfully completed studies in physics or electrical engineering or a comparable course.
– Several years of experience in the electronics development of an automotive supplier or an automobile manufacturer.
– Broad knowledge of how inverters work in the automotive sector (e.g., electric drives).
– Experience in development according to the principles of functional safety (ISO26262).
– Independent and structured way of working.
– Fluency in English is mandatory, German desirable.
