Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and profitability goals.

Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate and expand into those markets.

Collaborate with other senior executives to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscape, and stay updated on industry trends to inform sales strategies.

Sales Team Leadership and Management:

Lead a large sales team, including regional managers, sales directors, and other sales personnel.

Set sales targets and quotas for individual team members and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Foster a high-performance sales culture, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when needed.

Sales Operations and Processes:

Oversee sales operations, including pricing, contract negotiation, order fulfillment, and customer service.

Develop and implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize sales performance and efficiency.

Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and data analytics to track sales metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Monitor and manage sales budgets, expenses, and profitability, ensuring the sales organization operates within financial targets.

 

 

 

 

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and strategic partners.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by addressing customer needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly and effectively.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.

Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and projections to support financial planning and budgeting processes.

Industry and Market Knowledge:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the automotive sales landscape.

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional networks and gain insights.

 

Requirements:

Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving revenue targets in the retail/luxury sector

Extensive experience (Minimum 10+ years) in sales management, preferably at the executive level.

Deep understanding of retail sales processes and customer dynamics.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Ability to lead and motivate a diverse sales team.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
