Global Lean Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Create and apply lean production techniques and procedures to streamline supplier operations and reduce waste.
• Establish and uphold constructive relationships with suppliers and promote a spirit of cooperation and ongoing development
• Work together with suppliers to evaluate their present manufacturing procedures and pinpoint areas for development
• Coach and train supplier personnel on lean principles and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work
• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives and new product introductions
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance and identify areas for further improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Fluent speaking in both English and German
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze data and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
