Global Head of Sales (Hydrogen)

Our Client is a global provider of Hydrogen Solutions, committed to promoting the global use of renewable energy technologies. They focus on efficiency, sustainability and innovation.

In your Role as Global Head of Sales, you will be in charge of organising and directing sales initiatives in major European markets, such as France, Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, Finland, Norway, and Spain. You will create and carry out strategic sales efforts to boost market penetration, revenue development, and position the business as the area’s top supplier of hydrogen solutions by utilising your knowledge of hydrogen technologies and your potent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Create and execute all-encompassing sales plans that are in line with overarching corporate goals, emphasising the growth of revenue and expansion of markets.
  • Guide, inspire, and assist a top-performing sales staff in meeting both individual and group sales goals.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from R&D, marketing, and operations to make sure sales initiatives are supported and aligned.

2. Market Development:

  • Analysing market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive environments, identify and rank the most important target markets within the designated region.
  • Develop trusting connections with important parties, such as governmental organisations, business associates, and prospective clients, in order to raise knowledge of and demand for hydrogen solutions.

3. Customer Engagement and Acquisition:

  • Supervise the creation and implementation of strategies for acquiring new customers, such as lead generation, conversion, and prospecting.
  • Increase customer involvement by demonstrating the value proposition of our clients hydrogen solutions through persuasive presentations, offers, and negotiations.

4. Channel Partner Management:

  • To broaden market penetration and boost sales, work together with distributors, resellers, and channel partners.
  • Assist channel partners in order to guarantee that our clients goods and services are effectively represented.

5. Market intelligence and insights:

  • Keep an eye on competition activity, market trends, and regulatory developments pertaining to hydrogen technology.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Make use of market research to find new product improvements, commercial prospects, and possible areas for innovation.
