Global Account Director
Our Client are a global leader in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Industry. They are seeking a Global Account Director who will play a critical role in the Account Management and Business Development for the company.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Take the lead and oversee the operations in line with the corporate customer strategy.
- Handle the client in accordance with reviews of customer strategies.
- Responsible for the Product Line, Global Accounts, and EMEA Revenue and Profitability.
- In charge of overseeing Account operations to support ongoing business and creating and implementing a plan to seize future international business opportunities.
- In charge of RFQ lead, business development, and targeted expansion.
- In charge of managing commercial accounts for each of the group’s brands.
- In order to guarantee that financials are presented in accordance with AGM approvals, other regional business leaders are involved.
- To accelerate business growth, cultivate and fortify relationships with customer decision-makers by spotting new business and cross-selling opportunities.
- Strengthen the business’s technological and commercial prowess and increase its exposure in the worldwide vehicle electrical distribution systems customer group.
- Developed a strategy plan for business endeavours and led the OEM partnership’s strategic development.
- In charge of setting up and maintaining the particular commercial tracking systems as well as planning and implementing cross-functional battle plans for important projects.
- Keep up with internal standards for the commercial records in Sales Force.
- Oversee a group of people through the course of a project and coordinate business prospects with their Connection Systems equivalent.
- Act as a senior-level point of contact for the client and assume the initiative to advance the company’s objectives and interests in discussions.
- Operate within an E-matrix corporate setting.
Your Qualifications and Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar subject; a master’s degree in a relevant field (such as engineering, business, or finance).
- Proven specialised client and product expertise is a crucial qualification.
- A background in operations and supply chain management is a plus.
- Strong P&L skill set and costing / pricing capabilities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical data to support sales strategies.
- Experience leading a regional and/or global sales team in the manufacturing or technology industry.
- Possess excellent organisational and time-management abilities and is detail-oriented.
- Possibility of visiting the USA, Europe, and Asia on occasion.
- Proficiency in the English language is required. Good to excellent proficiency of the German language.
