Engineering Project Manager
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise the technical planning for contract preparation
- Develop the planning abilities and processes within the team
- Establish metrics to quantitatively characterize project engineering status for the full life cycle of the projects
- Assist with technical training for team members and development of new project engineers
- Monitoring adherence to the quality management system’s standards
- Work in a team to develop and improve the system standards
- Create a culture of excellence that values continual development and boosts business productivity and engineering excellence
- Lead all phases of numerous projects and project engineering, such as conceptual and advanced system design, while adhering to legal requirements, client demands, system balancing, site visits, permitting, and providing technical assistance during the construction phase
- Responsible for reporting the planning process to the client
- Extensive technical experiences on photovoltaic and energy storage projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading a team
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related engineering science, with the working knowledge within several fields of engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Willingness to travel, at least 30% of the time
- Relevant work experience in the design and development of power/renewable plants
- Knowledge of PV plant design and optimization
- Previous experience managing projects from initial design to installation and execution, preferred
- Ability to motivate and develop others
- Experience working internationally
- Experience with photovoltaic performance modeling tools
