Director of Operations & Finance

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and monitoring performance against goals and objectives
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service
• Ensure that financial operations are accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage financial reporting and analysis, including monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth plans, including raising capital, managing debt, and optimising cash flow
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure alignment and integration of operational and financial activities across the company
• Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and Management Team on the company’s operational and financial performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations and finance, with at least 4 years of experience at a leadership level
• Experience in the recruitment industry, preferably in a fast-growing company
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and planning
• Experience in managing complex financial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions or fundraising
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyse data, and make data-driven decisions
• Experience managing a team and developing talent within the organisation
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
