Director of Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and enhance the system standards as a team
• Lead all phases of project design and engineering, including conceptual and advanced system design, while adhering to regulations, client needs, system balancing, site visits, obtaining permits, and providing technical assistance during the construction phase
• Lead the technical tasks in preparati on of HQC proposals, projects, and the review of potenti alproject/supplier acquisiti on opportunities
• To guarantee strategy alignment and the necessary technical trainings, work closely with the team to define company procedures and metrics, and plan and allocate resources across current programmes
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned
• Contribute to the design and delivery of PV, BESS, and other renewable projects in cooperation with other team members
• Create a culture of excellence focused on continuous improvement to boost business efficiency and engineering quality
• Report on the planning and technical design, and present it to the Vice President of Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related engineeringscience, with the working knowledge within several fi elds of engineering
• Willingness to travel, at least 25% of the time
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading a team
• Experience with photovoltaic performance modeling tools
• Excellent written and verbal communicati on skills
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience in the Solar / BESS industry
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and various Standard Industry Codes
• Extensive technical experiences on photovoltaic and energy storage projects
