RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Concentrates on new business development activities to incorporate emerging technologies and fashions into the pipeline for new product development
  • Solid awareness of global retail markets and what it takes to get your product placed with key retail partners
  • Define product use case and experience for our target consumers
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the engineering and programme management teams to ensure that the necessary product concept is transformed into a genuine, in-depth product requirement document
  • Work as a team player in all Product Development activities outside your specific responsibility
  • Presenting your product plan and the companies Value Proposition in a manner that is consumer friendly, market realistic, creative and ultimately compelling
  • Solid P&L abilities. can confidently construct a ROI business case. good judgement in balancing what we describe with the financial return that we receive
  • In-depth knowledge in home audio product category – market trend, competition and technology
  • Have a thorough understanding of the full lifecycle process, with a strong emphasis on project management, to ensure that the first product creation milestones are met on time to enable product releases in the right regional introduction windows
  • Connect well with regional commercial colleagues. Be responsive to their needs and provide information to them that is immediately useful
  • Create your category’s important “hero” launches’ marketing plans and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with the brand management teams
  • Drive leadership in category by defining meaningful product differentiation and being very strict in what we choose to leave out of a product spec

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong product management experience in electronic industry
  • Strong Technical competence to influence and maximize product architecture decisions
  • Successful market and commercial history
  • Have introduced numerous items to the market and are aware of the factors that contribute to their success
  • Innovator. Driver of meaningful differentiation
