Cyber Security Architect
As our Security Architect, you will take a lead in:
- Developing, implementing and managing our approach to security that protects our infrastructure, systems and information.
- Preventing, identifying and remediating security threats and vulnerabilities
- Collaborating with other teams to improve the overall performance and reliability of the organisation’s security architecture
About You

- Have several years’ experience in a similar cyber security role, with a good understanding of security principles, architectures and best practice
- Have good experience in the Microsoft cloud security stack
- Are a good communicator, able to explain security concepts and their benefits to technical and non-technical staff
- Are customer focussed, always delivering excellent customer care and identifying ways to improve our approach to cyber security
- Pay attention to detail and have good time management skills, able to prioritise work and deliver to multiple deadlines
- Have good analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking outside of the box when necessary
- Like to keep up to date with the latest IT Trends and products, identifying how the business might benefit from these
- Are keen to develop your skills and gain industry recognised qualifications (CISM, CiSSP etc)
- Already have, or be able to achieve, UK SC security vetting clearance
We are ideally looking for the following technical experience:
- Security incident management processes
- Cloud security (Azure and AWS)
- Azure infrastructure (e.g virtual machines)
- ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus
- Good knowledge of cloud identity and access management (e.g. Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access etc)
- Vulnerability management
- Some knowledge of SD WAN, network segmentation and Site to Site VPNs
- Architecting and managing network perimeter security devices (firewalls etc)
- Some knowledge of current MS server operating systems and services they provide (DNS, DHCP, Domain services etc)
