Chief Technology Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide strategic technical leadership to the R&D and engineering teams, guiding the development of advanced hydrogen electrolyser technologies.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and optimization of electrolyser systems to ensure they meet performance, efficiency, and safety standards.

Innovation and Research:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and research developments related to hydrogen production and electrolysis.
  • Drive continuous innovation by initiating and managing R&D projects to enhance product performance and maintain a competitive edge.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate market requirements into technical specifications for new product development.
  • Lead the development of prototypes, ensuring efficient scaling from lab-scale to commercial production.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the reliability and consistency of electrolyser products.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement and adhere to industry standards and certifications.

Collaboration:

  • Foster strong collaboration between technical teams and other departments, such as manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Engage in effective communication with stakeholders, including customers and partners, to address technical inquiries and build lasting relationships.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies to navigate certification processes for new products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leadership in hydrogen electrolyser technology development.
  • Extensive experience in managing R&D projects and leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrolysis technology, materials, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
